VWEB-LT - Paperless Labour Ticketing
Overview
VWEB-LT is a WEB 2.0 real-time shop floor data collection solution for labour tracking and provides both paperless and paper-based shop floor control.
It promotes a 'GREEN', paperless shop floor and being web-based, requires very little processing power allowing you to use lower power and even use older computers which would otherwise be discarded.
Full integrated with INFOR ERP Visual modules including ALTS, Manufacturing, Costing and Scheduling, data collected can be viewed and edited through the standard "Labor Ticket Entry" application, and reported through the standard Visual reports for efficiency, utilization, job costing, job status and all of the other numerous manufacturing reports.
It is optimized for touch-screen deployment, however any device which supports a JavaScript-capable browser with a minimum 800x600 resolution screen may also be used.
Instead of scanning barcodes on paper Work Order Travellers, the user instead selects from a filtered list of 'elligible' work order operations on the screen. There are several configurable options for filtering and sorting the operation lists.
VWEB-LT also provides options for Barcode Scanning and RFID cards for both Employee ID as well as Work Order information.
A web-based, thin-client solution, it can be easily deployed across multiple remote sites via the internet with no client installation, and can also be used where employees are working off-site, for example where they are providing installation or maintenance activities at a customer's remote location.
VWEB-LT is multi-lingual and the labels, buttons and prompts will automatically change to the home language of the user who is logged on.
Currently English, Bahasa Malay, Thai and Simplified Chinese are available, however support for other languages can easily be added through the use of simple language files.
